Important Announcement for PATCO Wave & Pay ANYWHERE Visa® Prepaid Cardholders:

Thank you all for making our test of the open payment system possible. With your participation we have been able to gather important information for the future of contactless open payment.

As of October 21, 2012, you will no longer be able to use your Wave & Pay card or other contactless bank cards to ride PATCO. PATCO riders will still be able to use the FREEDOM card, which can be purchased with credit or debit cards including the PATCO Wave & Pay ANYWHERE Card, from self-service vending machines at each station to ride the train, or use the FREEDOM card to pay for parking. Cash is accepted at the vending machines for purchase of one-trip and two-trip (round trip) tickets.

You will still be able to use the Wave & Pay card for retail purchases and you will be able to load more money onto your card after October 21 through the Visa reload network. The red kiosks currently in PATCO stations will be removed. Please refer to the FAQs for answers to your questions about the conclusion of the program.
